| Hi All, One of the first things I have cooked using the oven. I am still making smallish curing fires. I let some good coals develop and raked them forward. Then I put the cast iron tuscan grill in the oven and threw the steaks on. I just had salt on the steaks they cooked very quickly to mid-rare (maybe about 7 minutes total?). Very tasty with a nice sweet smoke flavor. I have attached two images, one with flash, one without. You cannot really see much without the flash, but the glowing coals look cool. Drake |
