Default Ham & Pineapple Pizza

Last night we made 2 x ham and pineapple (for the children) and 2 x mushroom, pineapple and onion pizzas for my wife and I. Plus several garlic breads.

Pictures attached of our attempt.

My favourite pizza is spam and piccalily that we first made when the pizza oven housing was finished, just have to finish off the outside.

We have also cooked Lamb for Easter and we have cooked beer can chicken too, both excellent.

Great looking pizza. If using pineapple pieces from a tin always drain it well. The juice is often the major culprit of bases sticking to the wooden peel. Never get anything wet like tomato sauce olive oil or pineapple juice between the base and the peel or you'll have trouble getting it off. No one likes not being able to get it off.

David S, thank you for that we have an aluminium peel but pizzas still stick even when well floured - any idea how to overcome this?

Most folk prepare the pizza on a wooden placing peel, jiggling it a little a couple of times during this making process, placing it in the oven, then turning and removing with a metal peel.

I was having a pizza in Sicily and got talking to the guy, he fell in love with ham and pineapple pizzas while staying in Surfer's Paradise in Australia, so he had it on his menu to remind him of Australia.
Of course I had one
