  • Day long feast with family and friends

We cooked 18 pizzas yesterday and they were are all gone, well a few left as take out for some family that couldn't make it.
The morning started with breakfast pizzas and then worked into late lunch. We heated a pie in the oven and we made cinnamon rolls as some of the desserts.
    No one left hungry.

Looks delicious, No body left hungry except for me . I have a question about these thick American style pizzas. How long do they take to cook in a clear-dome oven?
Why is this thus? What is the reason for this thusness?
      I forgot who said that.

The pizzas that I cook take about 4 minutes.

The day long feasts are always the best, eating, hanging out, talking and eating some more. I think the fun is whipping out meals out of the wfo

Thanks Greenman for the kind words, it was a very good day.

I agree V-wiz. The breakfast pizzas that I cooked were a hit. My wife got all the toppings ready and asked for me to make it with the following ingredients, first I put down pesto then pieces of mozzarella, caramelized onions, pieces of sausage, and then topped it with 4 eggs on top. The eggs were cracked on top of the pizza right before it was placed in the oven.
I don't have any photos of these pizzas because they were all gone by the time I got my camera out.
Hopefully I will cook some more sometime soon!!!

There is one more ingredient that I forgot to mention that I put on the breakfast pizzas and that is smoked Gouda cheese, an important part of the flavor.

When the food is good and the guests are hungry the camera often comes off a poor second.
