Default Phill's oven

Hi Phill,

Thanks for posting your oven photos. Very nice. How does she cook? I can't tell from your photo, but do you have a door that closes off the oven chamber from the vent area?

Also, I wanted to ask how your BBQ works. Do you use wood coals and charcoal? How is the airflow? Adjustable grill height?

I am going to be building a similar grill, and am looking for ideas. I've been thinking of documenting it, and making an e-Book on building a brick grill.

I asked the question in the photo plog, but I was wondering if that was a thermometer sticking out the side?

Also, I am getting inspired by these tight fitting bricks - how do you angle those cuts?
