| Hi ya all love the forum. To cut a long story short I have allways wanted a pizza oven but every oven I saw built was set in stone, brick ,blocks etc I wanted a oven that if I ever moved home I could pick it up with a fork lift put it on a truck and take my prize possession with me. So I said to my good old Dad in his 70s now and has been a engineer /mechanic all his life and now a trout fishing guide I want to build a pizza oven base I can pick up move he said hmmmm its got to look good and its got to be heavy and solid so it suits the oven sitting to it... He then started pulling steel out from under the house and out of his shed this is what he came up with . ( more photos to come) |

and that is why you need a big shed and should never throw anything away. You never know when it will come in handy! Daznz, It is a mighty looking stand. Is you dad also helping in the rest of the construction? Paul

| Daz, I love the look of the timber and the black metal. You seem to have built this very quickly! How many beers has it taken you so far? Paul
