You have a good start. The slab, stand and structural slab are the parts that are the hardest work. Once you get to the actual oven build it is really fun. Good luck!

I have been waiting to work on the slab it has been rainy here the last couple of days, and looks like it might stay kinda rainy the next couple of days. Seems to like to rain on my days off!

Well another rainy day today Looks like tomarrow is suppose to be dry, hoping to pour the Hearth slab

WEll had a nice day here, got alot of brick laid and got the first arch done!

Well hearth firebricks are layed, just need fireclay to do the walls. worked on layout. Not sure weather to space the wall bricks or lay them tight together

I have been waiting to do this part.. had problems finding the fireclay, but i think that i am going to order to by mail.

Well its been awile since i have logged on here, but about have the oven finished. Had a couple of fires in it now, just some finishing touches and roof.. I have noticed that the back side of the brick up against the chimmy ( where the roof butts up against the brick gets pretty hot to the touch..anyone else see this on there's?
