Default my first pizza

Cooked my first pizza today. I've cooked a few other things but this is the first pizza and it was excellent. Floor temp about 380C and it cooked in a minute or 2. Really delighted with it

Looks good...congrats

You can dome it for a few seconds to get a little color on the top if need be.

Does that mean hold it up to the dome on the peel?

Yep, that is the idea. It is significantly hotter up there.

Literally a matter of seconds only, though.
I once took my son's bacon pizza out with a little flame coming off the crust, after I accidently held it up for more than about 5 seconds.
Once, among the hundreds of pizzas I have cooked.
He has never let me forget it.
Whenever I dome a pizza, it's "remember that time you burned mine?"
