Default A launch pad for geese?!

A snap I just took of my slowly maturing oven project:

Cheers,

And for good measure, a Buddha oven someone has built in my neighbourhood... perhaps this is offensive to believers?

You know old rocket fuel can be dangerous ???? slippery stuff.....your oven looks great,,they should have made smoke come out of the buddhas mouth,, very creative though..

Personally, I thought the VW van in the background was a nice touch.

I think the kitsch surrounding buddha representations passed the point of no return a very long time ago...

I'm surprised you discerned it! There's little but pieces of rust left of the VW! (The red van at left is indeed our old 1969 Kombi, which we brought to Australia in 1971 and used to travel from Melbourne to Cairns and back to Sydney with our 4 kids... It lasted 13 years in Oz before It was retired to 'Clod 9'. The white ruin next to it is a Mazda E2000 disel van that lasted a mere 8 years before I ran into a cow at night with it near our bush block. I now have reverted - after running an old Toyota army van for many years- to VW: a silver T4 TDI diesel van has just turned 5!)

Cheers,

LMH
