| I have been roasting garlic while cooking other dishes and it's worked well. Just cut the top of the garlic bulb off, drizzle some olive oil into the bulb/cloves and put it in with whatever you're roasting. You can save this roasted garlic for a long time in your fridge. We pull off the roasted garlic pieces and use them for a variety of dishes. Today they went on lamb sandwiches. We've also used them on Pizzas with good success. Salads.... Wherever you like a roasted garlic flavor. Salut...to your good health. (I knew an old Finn, Marco, who ate a whole head of garlic every day!!!!, he also took snow showers in the middle of a Keeweenaw winter!! Lived into his mid 90's.) |
