| I'm building a brick oven and I've seen insulation online that handles 1200F up to 2300F. I can source some 1200F stuff locally but will need to buy anything higher temp online so just wondering if the 1200F board will work or if I'm better off just getting the higher temperature stuff. |

| The minimum thickness should be 2'. If you take a look at our residential ovens, most include 1x 2" insulating boards. The Premio2G oven kits include 3' boards but keep in mind these ovens are heavy duty residential ovens for frequent usage or heavy baking. If you go to our library, you'll find the dimensions for our residential ovens and you can use it as as a guideline for your own oven. Again, this is just a recommendation but custom ovens are up to the individual. I hope this is helpful to you. |
