I'm building a firepit below my oven. It will have a separate chimney at the back. My dome height is about 20 inches from the hearth. The bottom of the front arch will be about 15 inches from the hearth. 7 inch square tile chimney. Will 5 inches be enough for a "smoke shelf" ??
