Default Slinky Thing to Big Fat Mumma

Newbies,
Beware!!
My igloo oven has risen, phoenix -like, from a 1970's bbq disarray:

I did the maths with FB help blah de blah de blah. So yeah, all good, and a neat little WFO resulted. Cooked unreal pizzas over Chrissy . mmhh! too good, eh.

So a sweet, Lithe 'n Lean little Pizza oven has morphed into a Big Fat Comfort Thingy, and He's so obscene!! He's totally insular! Hangs his guts WAY over the originally agreed waist measurement!!!
How vulgar!! Really! [Hide my eyes!]
(Aww, but kinda cute in a fine-food-obsessed sort of way).
Moral?
(1) If you're reading the Newbie column 'cause you're a newbie, then build your base AT LEAST 4" bigger than you'll ever need.
(2)If you're an experienced builder and simply checking on the kids, please feel free to check my spelling before I hand it to the Teacher.
All praise to James, eh.
enough,
Luddite Jeff.

Thanks for the laugh, Jeff. I think I need to get someone with a nice Aussie accent to read your post to get the full effect.

Your message is dead-on... Never hurts to add a few inches here and there just to be sure!
