Portland cement

Hi,

Today i poured my structural hearth and am waiting for that to cure before i lay my structural hearth. Im looking at buying in the materials and I'm wondering what is meant by portland cement in the instructions. Is this stuff ok, or does it need to be 'pure' portland cement?
