| Does anyone know if you can cook: raw minced pork, like Italian Sausage on a pizza in a woodfired oven? If you are running your oven at around 750 degrees and your pizzas normally cook for roughly 1 to 1 1/2 minutes at most two minutes, is that enough time to cook normal Italian Sausage? Right now we have been precooking our sausage but would like to be more authentic. We are missing out on the oil of the sausage blending in with the cheese like a normal pizzeria. Please help if you can. |

| Hi Rmo67, I often cook Italian sausage on pizza, you need to pull the raw meat out of the skin first and spread it in 1/2'' to 3/4'' size pieces.
