How do I include photos in a post?

Can someone please direct me in how to post photos/thumbnails in a post not the gallery.
The source for now would be my hard drive.

I will second that request.
I know the file size of all of my pics have been too large, so I followed the instructions someone posted on using Photobucket and then posting in the gallery.....works great, but thumbnails, I'm dumber than a fence post.

If you click on Reply, or New Thread, you have an option underneath called Manage Attachments. You Choose File from you hard disk and Upload the graphic. The size limit is 100K, and the system automatically creates the thumbnail. Then, we all get to click on the thumbnail and the larger photo loads as a new web page.

This schiacciata photo is 480x360 and 74K.

This test picture is of columns (can only see part of the other) and stairs (lower not on the house) I did on a model home here in town.
