Default How do I identify fire bricks fro normal ones?

Somebody has some bricks for sale and they think that they are fire bricks but are not so sure. How can we get a posotive ID on them? Thank you

Default Fire brick ID

The best thing for you to do is take one to your local masonry supplier and ask for verification.
