| I bought a used beehive type oven to hold me over while I construct my Pompeii. The problem is I am not allowed to use it any more, due to my wife’s fear I will burn down the neighborhood, with escaping embers. We live in Northern California, this time of year we worry about fires. Help me convince her I will not start the block on fire using a Pompeii with a chimney and spark arrester. I would hate to build an oven and only be able to use it when it rains. |

| I live in Walnut Creek so I'm just down the road. My wife has the same concerns but I imagine there are hundreds of these WFOs around and you've not heard anything about it. Good luck. |
