Default cutting fire bricks with ease for $55.58 in 4 simple steps

1 - go to craiglook.com and search for used 10 inch compound miter saw (there are plenty!) in your area. You should pay $25 for it.
2 - buy this Amazon.com: MK Diamond 159407 MK-99 10-Inch Dry or Wet Cutting… diamond blade
3 - soak bricks at least 5 minutes
4 - cut, build, bake, eat

...lol.... That's exactly the blade I got from Amazon, including a couple of 4.5" diamond blades for my grinder.
My 20 year old 10" Makita compound miter saw performed very well during my dome build, thank you. ...

yeah, I use a nice 3M mask, i dont think those very cheap, 5 for a $1 masks are good enough for this dust. Also, hearing protection makes the process much more fun.

From personal experience, I highly recommend not breathing silicate dust. Wet saw, wet saw, wet saw, and even then wear a N95 mask or better.
