 CHIMNEY/FLUE position ??? Wow, now I'm really confused. Does the chimney/flue go BEFORE or AFTER the door? I've seen photos of it INSIDE the chamber and OUTSIDE the chamber.  |

 Re: CHIMNEY/FLUE position ??? Before. The door should be able to completely close off the inside of the oven. |

| Re: CHIMNEY/FLUE position ??? Yeah, that COMPLEXITY thing keeps showing up... I've managed to rework the front-end design so that the chimney is on top of the tunnel. Its adding a little bulk to the front end, but the mock-up I've just made looks great. |

| Re: CHIMNEY/FLUE position ??? There are quite a few pics in the link in my sig. The inner arch is offset to one side so that there is room to have a fire burning and still access the pizzas.

| Re: CHIMNEY/FLUE position ??? Here is my oven with damper slot, its nothing more than a cut down brick. The damper is a piece of kiln shelving it can be seen on the right shoulder of the oven.
