Calcium silicate board got wet - Forno Bravo Forum: The Wood-Fired Oven Community

I am just getting ready to lay the floor and start the dome. My Calcium Silicate board got wet. I put it in the garage for several days with a fan but this stuff seems to hold water. Is it OK to use or do I need to get new board?

Hello Dabouv1,

When the board is dry, and has not lost its shape you can use it. Normally if you place the board in the sun it will dry out.

However if its not drying out, you may need to buy a new board.
