Default Barrel Vault Oven

I am building a barrel vault oven with a steel front door. However, I am about to construct the back, but I am wondering what mortar to use for those bricks. Also, what do i put in between the firebricks in the dome and the outter clay bricks since it will be two layers. Any suggestions? Thanks
