Default Another Aussie Build - Flue Size

Hi
Another Aussie Build
I am in process of building a WFO , approx 36" Dia , what size should the flue be 6" or 8" . Have read a great deal of info in books and on the plans , but still would like to know what the consensus of option to what size ?
As your can see from the pic the oven in under cover , the roof is gabled
and the flue will go thru this roof, that brings me to another question how far above the roof . I have asked some questions at the a shop that sells wood burning heaters, they where not able to tell me , also whether a Top Hat with Spark arrester should be fitted?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Grant

Minimum 10% of your oven opening size, more is better.
