 After Foundation?? How many " thick do I pour each layer of a 42" Pompeii floor? Want to be prepared for my next step. Thanks!!  |

 Re: After Foundation?? Hi Rosario, According to the plans, the cement slab should be 5 1/2" thick. If you haven't already, I would suggest you go to the FB home page, and click on the Pompeii oven plans found under 'resources' on the left sidebar. Before I started my oven in '06, I read these plans over and over until I felt comfortable to start, and after that, to continue. I actually printed the plans and kept them by my side for instant reference while I was building. Kinda' like a paper security blanket! Best of luck! Rick
