Default Wall Street Journal -- Caputo US sales doubled in 2005

There was an interesting article by Katy McLaughlin in the WSJ on the 14th on authentic pizza and the smaller pizzerias fighting back against the chains called Pizza's Next Act. Among the various things she notes, Caputo says that their US sales doubled in 2005.

Word is getting out. :-)

I've started using the Caputo 00 flour as well. It makes a big difference.
Some of the Italian grocery stores in my area stock it. I'm going to se if they can get me the BIG sack of it. Word has gotten around and more people are showing up on Saturday night with toppings in hand 25-30 14" masterpizza cooked at a firing. I think we need to step it up because we don't have any left overs

Mike,

Don't forget that Forno Bravo is the main Caputo dealer focusing on residential customers. We sell it in (5) x 2.2lb bags, (10) x 2.2lb bags and the big 55lb (25kg) bag. Send me an email and we can see if it makes sense to mail the big bag to you.
