| Hi all, well I am from brisbane and just finished my oven and I plan to cook the turkey in it this year, its 6kg, who else is going to do a turkey for christmas I plan on putting bacon on the outside to protect the skin from and keep the juices in not sure to close the door or leave it open. I prefer the idea of it open my rough plan is to put it in big steel tray uncovered for 20 min and then cover and rotate every 20 min and cook it for about 30 min per kilo any one have any good turkey recipes. Cheers all so happy to have it finished and thanks to all who helped with tips. |
