Default electic storage radiator bricks

i have built a pompei style oven using bricks from storage radiators laid in lime mortar, the outside of the dome i have covered with two layers of old broken roof tiles also laid in lime mortar the thickness of the dome would be about 6 inches of the brick and 2 inches of tile and mortar.hearth is firebricks on mortar on insulating board. has anyone used these bricks? what sort of temperatures and how long will it stay warm etc. the previous oven i built using normal clay bricks still works well but loses heat too quick despite being well insulated with ceramic blanket and vermiculite would 4 inches of fibreglass loft insulation do as well?
