 another option for fire starting I just found this nice little fire starter. I like the vessel which holds it. Seems a little spendy to me, but maybe someone with more smarts than me knows how to make a D-I-Y version. Adirondack Firestone Company :: home

| Re: another option for fire starting I'm with you Faith.. Instant gratification. I had to comment because I bought and used a weed torch to help cure my oven and now use it start my wood burns in my oven. I don’t push the wood fire too much but the torch sure helps to get the wood in a self sustaining burn. Chris |

| Re: another option for fire starting Its an accident waiting to happen, Im surprised that they are allowed to sell it.  Some dope will put the lit end back into the jar and may if they are lucky live to regret it.
