Default faggots

Whilst net surfing WFO's recently I came across a photograph of an oven somewhere in Europe where they were burning faggots, which are bundles of dried twigs. In Australia if you set fire to a faggot you would be incarcerated as some kind of sicko homophobe. But the bundle of twigs was interesting. Presumably some fruit tree prunings or whatever. Seems the flame is more important than the size of the wood. I've found that nothing bigger than your wrist is a good rule of thumb.

Am I missing something? This thread started mildly amusing and now it's at "all faggots should be burnt". Even with the LOL it's offending. If you think we should have a sense of humor about these things, just start playing with other words or euphemisms for types or races of people and add "...should be burnt" or some other form of violence.
This forums a bummer today!

Lighten up Dino, read the first post, faggots are twigs.

Ditto Dino. That post was out of line, intentionally or not.

Now, exactly what part of a pig is "Mr. Brains" putting in his products? That would just be too spooky to purchase if I was shopping!

I'm guessing chopped liver - bound by herbs and bread (according to the definition I found - our Brit, Ausi, and NZ friends should be familiar with this).

can be used as a verb - meaning to bind or tie up, as in faggot up the twigs. Faggot up the newspapers. Faggot up the prisoners.

As un-politically correct and insensitive as I am.....I'm staying away from any other possible meanings....I could, I should, and I want to (in fun of course); but out of respect for this PG rated family oriented forum.....I'm moving on.

actually, if those meatballs have liver in them, they should be burned for sure. I don't eat filters...
