| I was in a local fish and chip shop today and saw that they had "Battered Pizza" on the menu board, I commented that I hadnt see that before and was told that people que up for it..... ![]() Any more weird pizzas out there?

| To answer this question we must first determine, if possible what a pizza is. I am curious though if this battered pizza was some sort of deep fried calzone or simply a more standard pie with fried fish topping. |

| It was the left over pizzas they made the night before in the shop that they didnt sell, battered and deep fried.

| Did they batter an entire pizza? What size were these pizzas? If the pizza was folded before battered and fried, that sounds like a calzone to me. Either way I will have to try this! |

| They sell it by the slice battered all around. Sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen.
