Did just that - Applied 2 coats with rubber gloves got it really smooth..
waterproofed it and then painted it with masonary paint..no cracks etc
dried very very well

very happy with result

PS do you need 24.9kgs of lime...lol

That's a really nice finish you got there. The lime makes the whole mix quite plastic. Interestingly, the lime takes *ages* to go off - months or years as it turns back into limestone.
