Here's my door. I've come at it from a different angle. I like the traditional look of a wood door. They are cheap and easy to make, relatively light compared to steel and don't conduct like a metal door does.
Mine weighs 2.6 Kgs and is used one handed.
175 x 430 x 19 mm Quilla timber
insulating panel 12 mm bio millboard (no nasty fibres) attached to wood door with 4.5 mm 316 SS bolts.
downside is that the thin insulating panel will start to cook the door if left in place for over 3 hrs at temps above 300 C. This is not a problem because I don't roast or bake for that long or at those temps.

Yes, it was an experimental panel I made a while back. It fit inside the pattern except two corners, which I trimmed off.

A two piece door that's different . Obviously there a reason for that ,is it to do with the entrance hieght?
