well it looked good while it lasted, I guess you shouldn't use cheap tools when
you need to count on them. we had to stop laying bricks to run to home depot for a quick fix, which wasn't quick after all.

after the clamp issue, progress slowed down a little due to the fact that the
weather has been to nice to forget about our other obsession, motocross.
I had to spend some time on the tractor.
we did manage to mock up our opening and stack.
material will be 1/4" plate.

the brick work is finally complete, we gave up on the clamp and built up some plywood forms to make the last courses go quicker. we also whipped up a
compound chop saw to cut the bricks. we should be eating pizza for Christmas dinner.
