Merry Christmas to all of you past, present, future or would-be oven builders here on the forum, and a huge thanks to James for creating this forum that provides such pleasure in connecting with oven enthusiasts from all corners of the globe!

I won't be cooking my turkey in the oven tomorrow due to lack of insulation (still in the box) and a sense that I just haven't used my oven enough to feel comfortable attempting it yet, however, that's OK, I'll be ready next year! As I tuck into my bird tomorrow, I'll be making a silent toast to all of you who are eating wood-fired turkeys (or whatever).

And to those of you who have made such terrific progress or completed your ovens in the last month or so, while I've been too busy to comment much or offer the encouragement I'd have liked to, I've been watching - so congratulations, whether you're done, or just at that next step!!

Happy holidays to all. I agree that we have grown close over time (brick by brick, and hour by hour). Something funny that I just thought up, how about for next Christmas we have a gift exchange? Details can be figured out later.
