Default BBQ's

James mentioned somewhere that in Europe you walk into the hardware or the ceramics shop and find ovens and BBQ's something like seeing the propane BBQ's in Lowes or Home Depot stateside.

I took a couple of shots at a local ceramics shot on the highway, at the property line of two shops. Two rows of masonry BBQ's lined back to back.

(These are the last of the small photos as I now know how to make them bigger...in the future posts!)

With the increase in metal prices in the last year it may be cheaper to go ceramic - not as portable. But then really do you need a portable fire grill/BBQ? Sure mine is on wheels but I have not moved it in 2 years. These have a bit more character the stainless steel you get at the big box stores.

Those are beautiful. I think they are much prettier than the ones here.
