Default Terraced Cooking

As usual, I had a lot to cook and lots of dishes to be done at the same time.

I was stacking the dishes on top of each other! At one time....Roast Chicken, Roast Lamb Shoulder, Roasted Red Onions, Roasted Tomatoes and Roasted Tomatoes.....and it was time to grill the appetizer!

Stacked up the dishes, threw the grill in on the coals. (Used the tomato dish for a grill support)

voila!

It was like firing ceramics....all stacked up

Default Re: Terraced Cooking

Hmm. Terraced cooking. I like it. I've been thinking about building a pizza shelf ever since I saw that rotating oven that raises up to the ceiling. An iron framework that holds four firebricks. Like an elevated pizza stone for inside a brick oven... That can also double as a baking shelf. Your photographs are making me very hungry.
