Blacknoir,
My understanding of these things is that there is always a "safety factor" built into ratings like these and the mineral wool boards wont turn to pumpkins at the stroke of 1200. Anyway I believe my oven temp should rarely ever exceed 950 -1000 degrees. Seemed to me that rather than overcompensate with ratings, for the money, overcompensating on thickness of insulation was preferable.
I guess I will be the proverbial Guinea Pig and report back of success or failure
(cross your fingers that it will be success)
FYI I am also planning on using mineral wool batts 1' thick over the dome.
Good luck to you

Well...
MyRoxul Rockboard 80 was delivered and it would be much better named spongeboard.

I do not recommend this product.
I guess I am scrambling to send it back and find a quick local replacement ASAP as I have taken off next week to work on this.

Help!! I need Boards!! LOL

I found this:

Utah Refractories Corp

Lehi, Utah 84043
United States

Website: www.utah-refractories-corp.com
Phone: (412) 851-2430

I could not get the website to work.

Don't forget FB Board as an option. We have tried to price it very reasonably.

I know I've seen a post somewhere before on how many boards to buy, but I seem to have limited capacity to articulate the right search request to find it. Can someone tell me how many FB Boards I need to buy for a 42 inch oven?

I had just barely enough for a 36" oven with 3, but I went a little large on the oven entrance. I'd recommend 4.
