Hi Jas
way to go that should keep the cost down a bit. You'll need about 70 for the stand so that leaves you with a stack to build side tables etc. A bit of a suggestion for your mesh and steel and such check out any new houses being built in your local and front the guys on site. Show em any photos of your work and ask em for any mesh and steel left over. Thats where most of mine came from. They like being asked and even though its left over rubbish to them they do'nt like you knocking it of after hours

Hi Jaz
just worked on the dome this weekend, Man it takes time but I'm to the last 3 brick chains from closing in the dome. Hows progress with yourself? Tell us when you going to put down your slab to start the project. I've put down a few slabs some up to house size and have a few tricks to save you time, effort and money. new guy wants to build a pompeii oven in brisbane-fondation-slab.jpg

Thumbs up Re: new guy wants to build a pompeii oven in brisbane

hi Dave , yeah all is good i've been doing a few other jobs around the yard . ibuilt a 5mt long besser brick vege garden finnished ready for spring .
i thought i could use it to supply the needs of the WFO .ie the tomatoes and herbs for pizza and other tasty treats.
the WFO has progressed to the vermiculite insulation stage and with this weekends weather report , it looks like i may be indoors again and that other thing 'el nino ' predicts more rain ahead.::
I may as well read up on the next stages on forno bravo so i'm ready to go.. .
what have you done with your Wfo ? anything new.
i'm getting photo's together to post....
thanks mate...
