Default What material is used to keep the bricks together?

Hello there. I'm new to the whole brick oven thing, but I was thinking of getting one. I was just curious, what normally holds the bricks together, clay, cement, or some other material?

Thanks in advance!

Default Mortar info

Hi Jon,

I just made a permanent posting on the mortar you use to build your oven. You can find it here:
