Building Project:
Hey, I'm making a pizza oven for a workshop project and I was wondering what is a good, cheap firebrick to use as my slate peice to keep the heat in and for the walls if possible?

Re: Building Project:
Download the pompeii oven plans on the FB site and read the brick primer on page 69. Fire bricks usually cost between 1-2 dollars a piece. You can go the craigslist way and it could be free.:)

Re: Building Project:
Thank you heaps :) the ones in a lot of the shops down here are a fair bit more than that but I've found a way to get them shipped here if needed. :)

Re: Building Project:
A brick manufacturer in NSW said that he had two types of firebricks and I checked they were cheaper than buying them in Tassie, I'll post a link to their website when I find it again I have it round here somewhere...
