I'm curious about the way they mixed the pizza toppings all together, cheese, sauce, olives, etc. I tried that in my WFO and it was excellent...the flavors blended wonderfully. Anyone care to guess what region of Italy that technique comes from?

Calabria is where they are from, Southern tip of the boot.

Really, my Sicilian mother talks about Calabria. She always said it was just like California. I can see the similarities, orange trees, grassy rolling hills, olive trees forever, and the two sisters are precious. Uncle Guido only comes in for the dirty work...haha This is the second time I watched the video...great stuff. Calabria is definitely on the Italy tour in a couple of years.

Yeah, I watched it again to pick up pointers now that I have some experience with my oven. The ladies actually live in Australia now, though.

I enjoyed that. I have a lot to learn. I wonder if they give bread making lessons...?

I want to try mixing the toppings and then adding toppings to the pizza?

Beautiful pizzas and bread. It looks like they mixed the toppings with chopped tomatoes and grated cheese and then just piled it all onto the dough.

We need a mouth-watering smilie!

Flour, water & salt only. No leavening at all? And yet it was quite well risen after they removed the cloth.

Nope. Unless we can consider the moment when one sister pours water into the dough.
