That is so sad. I sure hope somebody buys it -- though I can't quite imagine moving it.

We should buy it as a group and donate it to a charity....

James,
wait until it runs out of time. At that price not looking at the relocation costs, they should almost pay you to remove it.
Having said that, they will simply smash it up with the remainder of the building, and dump it in land fill.
Anybody in NY looking for second hand fire bricks?

This was the text:

This brick oven is in Milton, New York about one hour and 45 minutes north of NY. It weighs about 5 tons. It was built by an Italian immigrant on site. It is in excellent shape. It was built in 1924. It is inside a building so it has never been weathered. the building will be torn down on July 26, 07. Costs of removing oven is on the buyer. So arrangements would have to be made prior to pick-up. A crane will likely be needed to facilitate removal.
