Looks very nice. I decided to go with the concrete too. I am using the QC countertop mix. Wish me luck, I am pouring on Sunday.

Concrete countertops can also be stained for added color.

Nice counter tops. Do you have a sequence of pics showing your build or thought process. I started a concrete counter thread and always looking for info to post.

How did it go? Pouring is probably the hardest part. Curing is the second hardest part. be sure to mist them twice a day with a spray bottle for at least 7 days. You can uncast them after 3-4 days to access as much concrete as possible for misting. The misting will help the concrete cure evenly. If you leave any part of the counter dry it will cure faster than the damp parts and you can get cupping and bending of the slab. Hope it went well. post a pic or two if you can ;-)
