Dusty,

That is one awesome setup!! Now I'm considering a kegerator!! But first things first, I have to build the oven... No need to get ahead of myself and start projects without having finished one (although that never stopped me before!!). My kitchen design will be similar to yours, Dusty, but with a large island on the left side coming back to form a "U" shape. This island will be separated, to leave room to walk around it.

I like the brick design and the awning!! Your son's an artist, alright. Keep up the good work!

Still chippin' away at it!
I decided to install a second pole to the back of my umbrella thing. I was a bit concerned about strong winds grabbing that giant umbrella- seemed like a lot of sail for one mast. Maybe, mabe not, but I believe it could withstand any central valley windstorm now.

I have also begun the wrap around bar. I have cut all three pieces of slate counter top, but have only sanded and polished two. You can see them temporarily setting in place.

I also installed a new door stop. Finished by mortaring the top of it from the inside. Wife thought this made an Excellent photo op.
