3 minute pizza? it's not a pizza oven, it's slow-cooker!

Cool, I wonder what the story behind that one is... Gas enhanced, no less. Do you think its insulated yet?

It looks as if someone put a lot of work into building it and then gave up half way through.

She's a monster. If you are nearby, she looks like a bargain -- if you are ready to cook for really big parties. Not the oven to light for 3 pizzas on a weeknight. :-)

Any aspring restaurant owners out there?

James

Good luck on the pick up only option for shipping. An Army deuce-and-a-half could handle it. Six feet wide. God only knows how much that behemouth weighs! Nice lookin' oven though!

Thumbs up Re: Pizza oven for sale!

The mother of pizza ovens has sold for Aus$605. A real bargain for the winner. I wonder how they are going to move and set it up!

I just noticed this, and it was right within my reach! hehe, although i find when building an oven thats gonna last me for yrs and yrs i would want it to be special and a custom build is always the right choice.

But great for someone that is happy to not go the custom route.

The term "solid cast" is used in the description.... meaning the dome is one piece? (Save for the chimney transition piece). The color looks right for a refractory that has been fired. Is this a commercially made dome that is/was available as a kit? Or someone's venture that lost motivation? It's huge for a one piece cast dome isn't it?

I think someone should chase up the buyer or seller and get us the story behind this one... find out what happens to it etc.
