Thumbs up Re: Ryan's 42

I like the sandstone capping.
Is there an outdoor kitchen planned to complement the oven Ryan? One normally goes with (rather after) the other.
Now all we need are the pics of the results of the oven build, the sucesses (and failures) of those first pizzas, breads, rolls etc.
Well done, now enjoy.

Neill

Nice! Looks like we got the same bricks! Where did you get yours?
I agreed to demolish a 70 year old garage to get mine.

It looks wonderful! I will be interested in how it drafts as I had to add some extra chimney height to mine (just did a 4 foot add-on to the existing FB chimney). Hope you enjoy many pleasant cookouts. And it looks like there is plenty of space for your kids to play while you are cooking.

So far so good. It drafts really well. I have a brick vent which is hdden but that helps to add to the the draw. I got my bricks from Robinson Brick. If anyone wants to look at the oven build it is under Ryan's 42 found in the Pompeii Construction Section. I will submit photos of the first pizzas this week.

Thanks,

Ryan

How did you do all that in just 58 posts? Geeze! I think I had a couple of hundred.....maybe not always directly related to building and oven though. Never one spam!

Congrats on the oven's function. It should serve you well.
