| hi there, Can anyone tell me if granite is suitable for building a dome oven? Have a free supply of rough football sized peices which i can cut to shape. any good? i would think it would hold heat better than any fire brick. cheers |

| No to granite vs. firebricks sounds like the answer. Use it for the finish on the oven.
