Thanks for that Elizabeth.
I know what you mean about throwing good things away. I will have to obey the starter recommendations or AI will have enough for the district.
As far as the tomato bushes are concerned, I have 35 plants in ant there are 6 different varieties.
There will be plenty for making numerous batches of sauces and chutnies which my wife specialises in.
I will however only work on one starter for the moment and hopefully put it to use in a bit over a week's time.
