One of my other hobbies.

One of my other hobbies.

A gas forge, I can just hear all the girls screaming hysterically and running for cover.
The burner is an idea off the internet and employs a MIG tip for the jet.

Dont try this unless you are a trained idiot....:D, like myself.

Well, well, well another iron banger in the crowd:D So your using a venturi type burner. Propane or natural gas. I don't have any photos of mine. My burner set up is a bit different. I use a furnace blower inject the propane in a black iron pipe line which goes in to the forge. Sice is 1" Have two like this in a forge about 30" deep. And oh yeah it gets HOT!!!

I probably am not worthy to join this thread, but I read this article several years ago in PM.
Home Made Forge.
I have wanted to try this ever since. Not the kitchen sink mind you but using the shopvac as a bellows. I've been thinking lately that it would be great to make tools for the oven.
Just a "buff", not a "metal head", YET:D
