| Love your choice of words - "persuade your opponent" Just curious, have you had it swabbed for DNA or traces of.....blood? Would certainly add to its provenance if you had evidence of battle use. I know, gruesome thought, but it is done all the time with war artifacts. RT |

| I havent had it swabbed, its been looked at by a curator of a military museum and deemed genuine. I will donate it to the Canberra war museum in the future. Home | Australian War Memorial

| Good onya, mate. As cool as these things are to own, they do have a story to tell. Far too many people these days don't know much about history (its really terrible here in the US). Any efforts to educate the masses are greatly needed, history museums are #1 in my book. Thanks for sharing these cool finds. RT |
