Spring is coming. At least it is down under.

We're falling back into autumn, and our members from Australia and NZ are looking forward to a summer of wood-fired cooking! Hey, speaking of the southern hemisphere, we're still looking for an FB dealer in South Africa.

ahhh yes....no more juggling wood stocks so they don't get wet and oven firing times are shortened......we even had our water restrictions lowered (in South Oz) this week and can give the gardens a bit more (looks like we are headed for another drought tho).

Hi Toolman,

I am also from melbourne, got quoted $2.50 a firebrick from darley, vermiculite was $40/100L from local garden supply. Am still trying to convince hte wife that we need an oven in the back yard.....

I am just getting ready to purchase firebricks. I wonder if anyone else is interested in joining me, hopefully the if we buy more we can get a better price approach can happen, so if anyone from melbourne wants to pm me, please do.
